COVID 19 has presented unprecedented challenges to all of us and therefore calling for immediate and spontaneous response from each one of us. Since the 13 th of March 2020, when the Government of Kenya announced the first positive case of Covid -19 ,our Institution in collaboration with local authorities, has distributed food and hygiene packs to 352 needy families, informative posters and supported in the acquisition of some PPEs and medical equipment to our local Health Centre – Ole Kasasi health Centre.
We have realized that more people especially children are in urgent need of food as many of their struggling parents have been rendered jobless.
It is for this reason that we have initiated a daily feeding program for 200 needy children from the community. The logistics have been worked out to adhere / in adherence to the government directives / guidelines on COVID 19 and in close collaboration with the local authorities.
